This passed week I was in Toronto working for Maja Hadjuk (pronounced 'Mya Haduck', its Polish) and Micheal Banasiak who are partners that work together in Sterling Studio/various locations for a wide variety of clients. Micheal's video work is exceptional and worth checking out.
Here's some snaps of the the Sterling Studio.
They call this the "Cove". Its a corner in the studio that has a curved wall meaning no ridges! It can be painted any color.
I learned a lot from Maja. Assisting a photoshoot for Marika Brose's new line of clothing was the main and most exciting thing I got to be a part of. I was able to observe Maja's professional and hardworking work ethic in action.
There were important things I learned/reviewed like using Capture One, setting up equipment safely/properly, communicating with the designer/photographer/makeup artists about the photos and environment, making sure the model is ready, doing the shoot as quickly as possible and proper tear down.
Here's some behind the scenes snaps from the shoot.
I also got to use my graphic design skills to design a "Petty Cash Voucher" for clients. Maja and Micheal loved it. Here it is.
Myspace angle shot!
I just had an awesome time overall with Maja and Micheal in Toronto over the week, it was a great experience that I'll always remember. I even managed to see the Tim Burton Exhibition which was extremely exciting for me.
